Franchesca is a nurse who recently highlighted some of the frontline workers in her life in an Instagram post. She reminds everyone that “all these frontliners have spouses and children they go home to. Please take a moment to thank those that are putting their lives on the line for us.”

She wrote:

“I’d like to take a moment to highlight a few awesome people that, in the wake of COVID-19, are continuing to work on the frontlines to provide care and keep us safe. @mrschanelj1 is a hematology and oncology phlebotomists who takes blood work for close to 80 patients in a DAY!! Without her, this vulnerable population wouldn’t have lab work needed to receive accurate treatment.

@drkesh is an Urgent Care Physician Assistant. Urgent care facilities, as you can imagine, are being bombarded by people who think they have the virus, those who actually do, as well as the usual flu, cold, and other issues normally seem outside of this pandemic. She encourages us to follow the social distancing policy for the safety of ourselves, others, and to help ease the strain this is placing on herself and her coworkers.

This married couple Steve, a firefighter and @the_new_mrswatson, a Paramedic, stated although additional measures have been put in place for their safety, it’s also been a burden. Imagine doing CPR with a mask, goggles, gloves, and gown! It’s rare they work the same shift, which means they can go days without seeing each other. All these frontliners have spouses and children they go home to. Please take a moment to thank those that are putting their lives on the line for us.”
