As I’m raising the next generation, it’s important for me to pass on the appreciation and understanding of the 1.6 million Union workers that make up some of the hardest working employees, retirees, health care workers, sanitation workers, firefighters, and childcare providers.

AFSCME stands for the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees and it is one of the largest trade Unions of public employees in the United States, something my kids now know!
