Christian has many friends and family working in the education and healthcare field, and he knows how different their lives would be if they didn’t have unions advocating for them during a major health crisis.
Without unions, many workers are forced to work without personal protective equipment or access to paid leave. Unions raise wages for both union and nonunion workers, which is very much needed during this pandemic. For my friends and family, because of union they have been able to receive equal and great pay along with job security as well. For me, it makes me happy to know the people I care about are well taken care of by their careers!
