What a privilege it is to be able to stay home with my kiddos and work my little “insta biz” here. It’s such a stress reliever and creative outlet for me to show up and connect with y’all everyday. 🥰 So a BIG thank you…[to] the 1.6 million public sector employees and retirees. That includes health care workers, corrections officers, sanitation workers, police officers, firefighters, and childcare providers.
Unions make sure that while they’re busy taking care of our communities and our country, their voices are being heard and their future is being secured. Unions are the catalysts that help secure better pay, health care, a secure retirement, and fair treatment on the job. Memberships uphold standards for the places that employ these workers and recognize the dignity and hard work in the roles they play.
I’m so grateful for unions and the positive impact and assistance they give so many working citizens of our great country.
