Tarsila uses her online platform to muse on “everyday life,” and there’s nothing more “everyday” than the cost of living. Tarsila is celebrating the diversity of unions in a wide variety of fields and the work they put in to continue securing living wages for all of their members.
“Unions are so important in the fight to defend workers against the rising costs of living. They exist to protect its members’ interest and improve wages, hours and working conditions for all.
No matter what you do for a living, there’s probably a union with members who do the same thing. Without the presence of a Union, it would be difficult to secure livable wages. Because they are there to fight for us and our rights.”
