As healthcare workers, our jobs can be very demanding. Oftentimes from the moment we clock in we are up and about till the very end of our shift. We take pride in giving the best care we can to our patients. But, sometimes we can find ourselves neglecting our own needs as employees. This is why I’m grateful for Unions. They help fight for job security, better working conditions, and pay increases. As it relates to healthcare they strive to improve the quality of our working environment, so that we can perform our jobs to the best of our ability. ⁣

⁣That’s a win-win situation for everyone! I think it’s safe to say that Unions are needed and are important to the advancement of our healthcare system.
