There’s no question in Chiamaka’s mind as she completes her medical education and prepares to become a doctor: unions belong in her future, and in the future of every working person across the country. Now that’s something to smile about!
Employee healthcare? Minimum wage? Overtime pay? Why wouldn’t I be smiling?! I am so appreciative of all the progress that union members have made over the years. Do you not realize how much of a blessing it is to have people fighting on your behalf? Without union members, there is no telling where our nation would be today. So whether it be supporting the cut of costs in prescription drugs or to maintain retirement security for all, I am totally here for it and plan to continue supporting unions by joining one soon. Thanks for working for the betterment of our lives, unions!
