Not only has my family benefitted from the benefit packages and contract raises, I also have felt so secure and safe during this pandemic. Since the pandemic hit and New York shut down, I have received emails, texts and calls from my union explaining all that they are doing to protect their members during this time. I have participated in union Zoom meetings and saw first hand how passionate they are to save the jobs of their members and ensure that when we return to our offices, we will be entering a clean, and safe environment. I cannot say I would feel stable in my career if I wasn’t part of a union and I appreciate all the work that is put in to help my colleagues and I.”
