The Freedom Foundation, a conservative action group, however, is challenging this knowledge base with a new lawsuit in Washington state that alleges that requiring workers to wear masks violates free speech and is a form of virtue signaling.
The lawsuit, which elevates right wing ideology over public safety, is only one in a long line of anti-worker Freedom Foundation platforming. This shameful history includes the 2018 Janus v. AFSCME case, which sought to eliminate labor unions and workers’ right to a seat at the collective bargaining table.
