When it comes to racial and economic justice, Black Americans for these for a long time. Unions were one of the means they have used to fight againest inequality. France supports unions because of what they have done and still do for Black workers, helping to close the gap between salaries and encourage economic advancement. France urges those who are Black public workers and ask around and join a union. The benefits that they will receieve will change their life for the better, helping them see that they are worth so much more than what their employers actually think of them. France wants everyone to speak up when things are not fair because when you are a person of color, it always expected of you to jump through more hoops to be treated fairly. Unions help your voice be heard and connect you to other likeminded activist that will have your back.
“Hello Queens 🤎 Today I want to talk about racial and economic justice. Black Americans have been fighting for these two for the past decades and one of them was through unions. Unions have been helping Black public service workers push through fair demands they asked of the government when it comes to salary and more.”
“It is very important to be able to share your voice when things are not fair, especially when you are a person of color. Let’s continue to be together in this fight.”
