Cheri has surrounded herself with people who are a part or worked with unions before and they have educated her on the importance of unions. Cheri states that you do not hear much about the unions, their importance, and what they have done to improve worker conditions. Cheri also talks about Dr. King and how his last major campaign was helping the sanitation workers in Memphis, TN join a union. Unions have always helped people in need regardless of their status. Cheri believes that don’t hesitate to join a union when given the chance, it will change your life for the better and help improve the lives of underappreciated workers.
